Responsive Web Design: Layouts and Media Queries

Published: April 23, 2012

“Responsive Web Design indicates that a web site is crafted to use W3C CSS3 media queries with fluid proportion-based grids, to adapt the layout to the viewing environment, and probably also flexible images.” [Source: Wikipedia.]

A responsive website is a website that will respond and adapt to the user’s behavior and screen size. The idea is to resize and reorder the design, adapt images, typography, columns, etc., based on screen-browser size, resolution and orientation instead of providing each device a specific website.

Gary Lutgen: hydropackuli-city.com Hydropack

This is a Hydropack. Recently discovered, it is a member of the camel family. It differs from the common camel because it’s hump is located towards it’s rear end and it’s a little more ornery. It is known as the “recliner of the desert” to it’s riders. It only allows riders from the “hidden” Bedoins after checking their signature phermone. The “hidden” Bedoins were only recently discovered after Google Earth found their “hidden” oasis. They are not happy with Google. They were a myth to the other local tribes, until now.
